I have been working as a media educator at CREMIT since 2006 and I mainly follow projects concerning media and technologies. I coordinate the Media Education project at the John Paul II School Center in Melegnano, managing classroom activities on media and carrying out support activities (online and face-to-face) and training teachers on the use of technologies in teaching.
Position
I am Project Manager of the “Media Education” area of CREMIT, and I am an expert on “Education and learning technologies”.
Studies and professional training
In 2003 I earned my BA in Education at the Catholic University of Piacenza. The title of my thesis was “How does the teaching of university professors change within the FD: field research and development of a tutorial”.
In 2004/2005 I obtained my MA in Communication and Training at the Catholic University of Milan). My final project was entitled: “A radio to listen and to educate towards the acquisitions of new skills”.
I earned my MA in Pedagogical Planning and socio-educational interventions at the Catholic University of Milan) discussing a thesis entitled: “Designing the Media Education Curriculum for Schooling environments. A theoretical framework and case study”.
Research and intervention areas
Planning and management of training interventions on media and technologies in teaching (teachers’ training and direct interventions in classrooms), Media Education, EAS (Situated Learning Episodes), online tutoring.
I also have work experience in the field of e-learning (at Cep@d-Ilab of the Catholic University): Blackboard administration (LMS), training and didactic planning (analysis and development of new technological solutions for didactic needs).
